Блюзовый вундеркинд Джонни Лэнг (Jonny Lang) впервые выступит в Москве!!!

«Да не введёт вас в заблуждение ангельское личико Джонни, - писал журналист U.S. News World Report. - Он обладает голосом опытного блюзмена с многолетним пристрастием к табаку и алкоголю. И таким же стажем игры на гитаре». Эти слова были написаны в 1997-м году, когда музыканту едва только исполнилось 16. Может ли считать себя «блюзменом» несовершеннолетний подросток, если блюз, по определению, музыка умудрённых опытом, много повидавших на своем веку исполнителей? «Блюз - музыка универсальная, - считает Джонни. - Не признающая ни границ, ни возрастов».

Джонни Лэнг (Jonny Lang) - один из самых талантливых современных блюзовых музыкантов. Его пятый альбом «Turn Around» (повернись) получил «Грэмми» в номинации «Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album» (лучший рок-госпел-альбом).

Успех пришёл к одарённому юноше уже в 16 лет. Любовь к блюзу случилась у Джонни Лэнга (Jonny Lang) фактически с «первой ноты» в тот момент, когда его отец, тоже музыкант, привел сына на один из концертов местной группы Bad Medicine Blues Band. Это был исторический для будущего блюзмена вечер! Сразу же после концерта Лэнг с большим энтузиазмом начал заниматься на гитаре и брать уроки игры у лидера той самой музыкальной команды. Спустя несколько месяцев ученик превзошёл своего учителя и его, несмотря на юный возраст Джонни, пригласили в группу фронтменом. Обновив состав коллектива, музыканты изменили и название. На обложке пластинки красовалась надпись Kid Jonny Lang & The Big Bang. Появление молодого дарования на блюзовой сцене стало настоящим откровением для критиков и слушателей.

Когда на сцене звучит блюз Джонни, в зале происходит магия: зрители перестают видеть музыканта, перед ними возникает его обнажённая душа, которая своей трогательностью и силой зовёт их за собой и открывает новые грани современного блюза.

На счету у Джонни Лэнга уже 8 студийных альбомов, собственный звукозаписывающий лейбл SayRai Music. Его творческой карьере более 20 лет.

The blues infant-prodigy Jonny Lang will perform in Moscow for the first time !!!

«May Jonny's angelic face not mislead you,» - wrote the journalist of the U.S. News World Report. - «He has the voice of an experienced bluesman, with a long-term addiction to tobacco and alcohol. And the same experience of playing the guitar.» These words were written in 1997, when the musician has just turned 16 years old. Can a minor teenager consider himself as a "bluesman" - if the blues, by definition, is the music of hard experienced performers, who has seen a lot in their lifetime? “Blues is a universal music,” - says Jonny, - “it doesn’t recognize neither boundaries nor ages."

Jonny Lang is one of the most talented modern blues musicians. His fifth album, “Turn Around”, was awarded a Grammy for the “Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album”.

The success came to a gifted young man at the age of 16. In fact, the love for the blues happened to Jonny Lang from the “first note” at the moment when his father, also a musician, brought his son to one of the concerts of the local group “Bad Medicine Blues Band”. It was a historic evening for the future bluesman! Lang was so impressed, that immediately after the concert he started playing guitar and taking lessons from the leader of that band. A few months later, the student surpassed his teacher and, despite his young age, Jonny was invited to that group as a frontman. After updating the members of the band, the musicians also changed the name. There was written Kid Jonny Lang & The Big Bang on the cover of the disk. The appearance of a young talent on the blues scene became a real revelation for critics and listeners.

The real magic happens when Jonny’s blues sounds on stage: the audience stops seeing the musician, his naked soul arises in front of them, with its touching power, that calls them behind itself, and opens up a new facets of the modern blues.
