Anush Hovhannisyan

An opera singer Anush Hovhannisyan is that singer whose voice captivates the European audience. Anush graduated from Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan. Then she moved to London to work in the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden. She sang solo soprano during the world premiere of “Works of Wolf” by Max Richter in Covent Garden for the royal ballet and debuted as Maria Stewards in the opera of the same name by Gaetano Donizetti. She performed the role of Adini in Donizetti's opera “Love Drink” and Violetta Valerie in Verdi's “Traviata” at the Scottish Opera. Besides in Anush's repertoire there are works by composers of Edward Abrahamyan, Edward Mirzoyan, Robert Petrosyan and of course by Komitas.

Sarah Castle

Sarah Castle studied at Victoria University before moving to Manchester to study singing at the Royal Northern College of Music.

Sarah Castle has been gaining attention for her committed and idiomatic performances of a wide-ranging repertoire spanning over three-and-a-half centuries of different styles and composers. Based in the UK, she has developed an ongoing relationship with London’s Royal Opera House Covent Garden, where she debuted in 2001 as Tisbe in Cenerentola and has subsequently appeared there as Dryad in Ariadne auf Naxos, Page in Salome, Mademoiselle Dangeville in Adriana Lecouvreur, and as Siegrune in Die Walküre, Flosshilde in Das Rheingold and Götterdämmerung in Wagner's Der Ring des Nibelungen, directed by Keith Warner.

Sarah Castle’s repertoire embraces the work of living and contemporary composers, both in the opera house and the concert hall. On the operatic stage she has performed the title role of Tan Dun’s Marco Polo (Netherlands Opera), Elektra in Manfred Trojahn’s Orest (Netherlands Opera); Nancy Tang (First Secretary) in John Adams’ Nixon in China (San Diego Opera); Portia in André Tchaikowsky's Merchant Of Venice for the Grand Theatre, Warsaw.

In the concert hall, she has performed Michel van der Aa’s “Spaces of Blank” (Amsterdam) and Mark Anthony Turnage’s “Twice Through The Heart” (with Manchester’s “Psappha” Ensemble).

David Junghoon Kim

As of today, David Junghoon Kim is a winner of much desired contests of Francisco Viñas, Voci Vediane and Toulouse. Being a graduate student from Seoul National University he made his professional debut as Rodolfo Boheme and then joined the Royal Opera in Covent Garden in September 2015.

Korean tenor David Junghoon Kim is distinguished by musical sense and high notes just pour out of it.

After graduating from the university, he debuted in German as Alfredo La Traviata at the Cologne Opera House. His performances include Romeo and Juliet in the opera “Grand Park” and Leone de Casaldi at the world premiere of “L’Angé de Nisida” by Donizetti at the Royal Opera House.

In 2016 - 2017 his performances at the Royal Opera House include Flavio Norma, Nathanael Le Cons d'Offmann, Lamplocher Manon Lesko, Ruiz Il-Trovator, Gastone La Traviata, Augustin Moser, Meistersinger von Nuremberg, Count Lerma and Herald Don Carlo and Pong Turandot.

Daniel Grice

Daniel Grice made his debut as Nick Teid in The Rake’s Progress opening in 2006 Aldeburgh Festival with the Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Neil Bartlett.

Recent opera performances include: Idraote / Astarotte Armida and Haly L’Italiana in Algeria for Opéra Orchester National Montpellier, Angelotti Tosca and Zoroastro Orlando for Welsh National Opera, Sam Un Ballo in Masker and Wagner Faust for Opera Dorset and the previous season of Papageno Die Zauberflö te, and also not understanding Peter Hansel and Gretel, Dulcamara L’Elysir D’Amor, Sam, Lyuthold Guillaume Tell for Royal Opera House.

Other performances include Saunard God and the Flemish MP Don Carlo for Royal Opera House, Ein Mann/Ephramite Moses and Aron, Shanard, Angelotti Tosca, Lord Rohoft Anna Bohlen and Roderick Asher (cover) La Shute de la Maison Usher for the Welsh National Opera, he also performed Pastore/Spirito Orfeo for the Opera National de Lorraine and Les Talents Lyriques with Christophe Rousset also participated in a concert at Salle Playel, Paris and Escamillo Carmen at Royal Albert Hall.

Daniel is also an accompanist performing at opera gala concerts in UK in particular with CBSO.

He recorded "Don Carlo", "Trojan" and "Gianni Schikki" for a DVD with the Royal opera theater, cinematographic versions of “Faust” and “Madame Butterfly” in 3D with ROH, the Maestro television series at the BBC Opera and numerous direct broadcasts for BBC 3 radio and big screen events from ROH and WNO.

Daniel will sing a Midsummer Night's Dream for the Opéra National de Montpellier in 2018/19 season.
